On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, our founder, Iniobong Udoh, had the honor of being invited by the Lagos State Government to serve as a panelist at the grand finale of the Jobs Initiative Lagos (JIL). This incredible program is dedicated to preparing Lagos youth for the modern workforce, equipping them with the skills and insights they need to thrive in an evolving digital landscape.
Iniobong shared the stage with other distinguished leaders, including Naomi Lucas, Employer-in-Residence at The Employee Bootcamp, Lagos; Mr. Tunbosun Alake, Honourable Commissioner for Innovation, Science & Technology, Lagos State; and Mr. Mobolaji Abubakre Ogunlende, Honourable Commissioner for Youth & Social Development, Lagos State. Together, they led an insightful discussion on “Maximizing the Transformative Capabilities of Artificial Intelligence in the 21st Century Workplace.”
Inspiring and Equipping the Future of Lagos
Addressing nearly 1,000 students from various tertiary institutions across Lagos was a truly inspiring experience. Iniobong spoke passionately about why we at Tech Skills Hack are committed to this work—to empower, inspire, and prepare the next generation. The excitement and curiosity of these young minds, eager to understand the impact of AI on their careers and lives, was invigorating and a reminder of the limitless potential that exists within our youth.

The highlight of the day was our founder, Iniobong Udoh being awarded by Barr. ‘Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin, the Secretary to the Lagos State Government, in recognition of his contributions to the digital space and the positive impact of Tech Skills Hack’s initiatives. This acknowledgment is a testament to the commitment and hard work of everyone at Tech Skills Hack in empowering underserved communities through tech skills and digital education.
